Donalds work channels what many of us may experience in our “digitally” (or personal) programmed realities, where our eyes, minds or opinions can have adaptive impulses to remain tethered to a vast web of misinformation; becoming a glitch. Through the artistic process, Guevara reconstructs meaning with intentional transparency, seeking not just to fracture this form of system but to awaken a deeper recognition and connection. The work invites us to confront the familiar and the shared within our identities and cultures, while urging a necessary inward and outward exploration—one that holds the potential to be limitless.
