As I stepped into 2024, I felt a shift unfolding within me. After 30 years in the fitness industry and retiring in 2016, I wrestled with feeling unmoored and uncertain. At 57, the thought of starting over was daunting—but sometimes the most beautiful transformations begin in seasons of doubt.
During the quiet of the Covid pandemic, I turned to watercolor as a refuge. What started as greeting cards soon grew into a passion for mixed media and larger canvases. Through countless hours of creating, I found not just art—but a deeper purpose.
I’ve come to see that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, and His will is for me to flourish in every season. That truth is the heartbeat of this series. FLOURISH is about resilience, renewal, and finding beauty in unexpected paths.
